Hey everyone - I've been MIA for a while on this project but going to make a real effort to get things rolling again. I don't have time to do the full pages but will still do my best to pull some challenging and interesting sketches together!

STEROID

ENSOE paints ROIDS sketch...

This was one of the more challenging sketches Ive had to paint so far. Mostly due to the round edges and trajectory of the letters...I love the way the S swings into a diffrent direction..
I think im going to try painting this one again, or maybe another sketch from roids..If feel theres so much you can do with this style. Thanks man! I broke alot of "habits" by painting this.

Here is a Roids that was a rough pencil sketch in my book from a few months back. I didn't finish it back then because I got bored with it. The other day i was flipping through the sketch book and got interested in it again. This is what I came up with...

Finally managed to get these inked and uploaded. Here ya go Roids! The first one is a I dunno "Contemporary geometric style?" Something I thought you could play around with. The 3d is only implied so by any means feel free to alter it. The second one is more of a concept peice I drew when I was nice and toasted...I gotta give my girl OROE credit for the alien abduction "I" idea . I wouldnt expect you to re create this if you choose to paint it, but use it as an impression or Idea for something of yours. Ultimately its up to you..Cant wait to see what you come up with!?!!?

Wassap. So I knocked this one out this morning in 2 hours. Lightning speed because i had to be at work. I had to simplify a bit, but I loved doin the beveled look. it was definitely a challenge. I also tried doin fades that you would do. Id love to do another exchange. one where i can really spend some time. your style is really fun to paint. Hope i didn't disappoint.

So heres another quick whirl at your name, this time a little more tech/ fast looking.  I still tried to leave some large areas open for you to have fun with treatment wise aka drop the tender videls on em.  There is plenty of stuff I would change if I was painting this one... stretching the "d" out and down more to flow better (or maybe change its shape to more of a pyramid) , making the whip outs really whippy and blown out, ect.

Have fun, hope you get to paint this one and definitely hit me back with a sketch when you can.

Il might spend a little more time and draw up another tech one as well.

Roid rage!

I started drawing a really mean, hard edged, swoopy, judo-chop sketch for you and wasn't having any fun, so I figured Id take the opportunity to get a little weird.  Never mind the dirty sketching I think the horror-ish one could look interesting with your style of treatment and interpretation.

I want to spend more time and do at least one more thats more intensely graphic/comic inspired, or at least more tricked out.

Yo Roids!
After some doodling for a few hours I got a bit serious and made this rough sketch. I never draw on paper so this is all kind of foreign ground for me, this piece is drawn across 3 sheets of paper, cause I don't know how to act. Uh!
