POSE PAINTS SIRUM SKETCH

Yo Sirum!
I was out of commission for a while but finally got to take a crack at your sketch. I love the flow and shape it was a blast to paint. I was having trouble getting the "e" to bang the right way (might have had to do with the burnt out car remnants, mattresses and bags of ?) so I put it in the microwave and cooked it for a while, and bugged out a little. I definitely think i might give it a second go, its a killer sketch man thanks again, I gotta return the favor soon!
Cheers

HESOE and SIRUM exchange at Roskilde

Sirum and I meet by luck at the Roskilde Festival and decided to get some exchange pieces done, since we had no sketches done we tryed doing 1 color sketches on the wall so we could get eachothers hand on the style... we picked some colors and pretty much went freestyle after that trying to really have a personal interpretation of eachothers sketch.
For me it worked perfect .. plus with the whole chillin constant party mood around Roskilde was just nice to be free to do the fun part of the pieces and spend more time in that ; focusing on how to light the piece and how to work textures on the diferent structures ans 3d ...i really liked how it came togueter and was dope just chillin there drink some beer and share ideas bout styles n all good things in life.
Thanks Lars for the flicks!

Taboo paints Sirum's Sketch

Painting this proved to be a lot harder than it looked. I think it may have been that I painted it on a small wall. I lost one of the coolest accents on the piece which was the flame shape on the top of the B. I compensated with this with the flames in the 3-D highlights. As I was restricted on the vertical, I also felt restricted on the horizontal plane as well, but all in all I tried my best to do justice to the outline.
The bull you drew looked almost like vector art/ a sports team logo. Thus my approach while painting the bull, as well as the piece, was to have no fades. I really liked the letters so I stayed pretty close to the original. As you can see I beefed up the body of the T as it comes from the A, and I curved the bottom of the B.
All in all it was a great learning experience. I know for round 2… Bigger is better!

Ensoe sketch by Sirum

Hey Ensoe , I looked into your works and straight away noticed your flowing letter repetition within your style.. Like your letters are rolling along! I wanted to use this formula in my sketch for you so in some way it has a similar feel to what you already know.
To be honest , I struggled a little with the S to the O due to the fact I love to kick the letter S out to help portray its character. Because of this, either the O would sit too far away from the beginning of the word, OR would be hidden behind the S...
20 variations later I figured I could merge the two letters together, but I had to be clever about this so neither of the letters suffered or became lost. In the end I now think the S to the O
is my favourite part of the sketch and your word is also beautiful to compliment with connections and arrows!
Sorry I couldn't get this to you before the weekend.. But I really wanted to give it my all bro...
I hope you like!
